the link between locomotion and simulator sickness



I’ve made an android game app for google cardboard. It’s a mini-game: the player has to search for small gold statues in a level. There is three declination and each has a unique locomotion system: teleportation, linear motion and acceleration motion.

I made different peoples test this game with each locomotion and after that they had to fill out a questionnaire ( http://w3.uqo.ca/cyberpsy/docs/qaires/ssq/SSQ_va.pdf ). This has given me these results:

As you can see, the locomotion influence the simulator sicknesses and we can class the locomotion system for what is the more “comfortable”.
