Context & Description:
“Are we dead?” is a Location-Based VR experience that blends action with traditional cooperative escape games. I worked on the project from pre-production to near-shipping.
My tasks:
- Designed gameplay mechanics in alignment with the director’s vision and narrative structure
- Designed levels, from 2D schematics to 3D block-outs in Unreal Engine 4.
- Prototyped guns and bossfight game mechanics using Unreal’s Blueprint system
- Game tweaks and balancing.
- Wrote and maintained the Game Design Document (GDD)
Retrospective Highlights:
- Gained valuable experience with traditional LBVR Escape-game.
- Strengthening my skills in Unreal Engine, Game & Level Design.
